Les Hutton here. I'm the person behind the Yorkshire-Visitors-Guide.com web site. I'd like to warmly welcome you to the April issue of Yorkshire Allsorts - my free e-zine.
If you've just joined us this issue then an extra special welcome - hope you enjoy the web site and this complimentary newsletter.
I've added another important new page to Yorkshire-Visitors-Guide. When you visit us here in Yorkshire you'll be needing somewhere to stay. Living in Yorkshire and being "on the doorstep" so to speak I've not, until now, thought too much about accommodation here. Oh, I'm aware of the big hotels and some nice restaurants, but I've been surprised at the sheer variety of good places for visitors to feel "at home". Some are truly luxurious, but there are many more that offer comfortable, welcoming, value for money accommodation. Take a look at the new page to help with your planning.
This young shire horse foal was snapped in a field overlooking the Leeds Liverpool canal in the Aire Valley. Together with the new leaves on the tree it reminds me of the new life and new hope that spring brings.
I really want you to enjoy reading Yorkshire Allsorts and I hope you find something - an idea or thought, perhaps - to take away from each issue.
Whats new on Yorkshire Visitors Guide?
I've added another important new page this time. Devoted to where to stay when you visit us here in Yorkshire. Once again I was pleasantly surprised to discover lots of different kinds of accommodation available and the sheer number of options will leave you with much to think about as you choose. Some are stunningly oppulent and others may be of a kind you've not even considered before. The link on the home page is called "Where to Stay". Here's a link to get you straight there
I hope you enjoy the new page and find it useful. The contents may give you some ideas about where you'd like to stay when you visit. I'll be turning my attention, next, to building some form of directory of, for example, "Best holiday cottage in Yorkshire". Believe me, there's a vast range from which to choose - it all depends on your budget and preference! See you next time...
