Hedgefield Guest House - Sleights

Tastefully furnished Edwardian Guest House, 4 star rated, with a 'SILVER AWARD' from Visit Britain. 3 miles from Whitby. Home made bread, cakes and preserves. Twin, double and superking en suite rooms.

An ideal base for exploring both coast and countryside, 'Hedgefield' is situated in the village of Sleights, close to the picturesque North York Moors National Park with it's famous steam railway, and in the heart of 'Heartbeat' country. The house is a few minutes drive from Whitby with it's wealth of attractions, festivals and stunning coastal scenery. The area is well served by local buses and trains. Walkers and cyclists are especially welcome. Drying facilities and overnight cycle storage are available. 'Hedgefield' is a fully non-smoking guesthouse. Unfortunately we do not take pets.


'Hedgefield' is an Edwardian house, which is tastefully furnished and provides a warm and friendly 'home from home' The owners Ann and Derek Reeve, will be pleased to serve you a hearty breakfast, using good quality produce from local suppliers, (including the noted Radfords butchers of Sleights). Home-made bread, cakes, pastries and preserves are a specialty. Twin, double and 'superking' bedrooms available, - all en suite.
