You are a great blogger!

When you started your first entries?
I also try to develop my site (Mix-Costumes), but I can't adverstand how you write so great articles.
Could I suggest to place some ads on your blog? I really love your style and your audience, I think halloween costumes will be interested for them.
I will you pay the amount you want, answer me, please! Thank you!

Owner Reply

I am the owner of Seagulls, Bridlington. I own and maintain eleven chalets and three apartments, and do most of the work myself.
I take great pride in my accommodation, and work very hard to ensure the highest standards possible are achieved.
Occasionally I do miss things, and for this reason I ask all guests to contact me immediately if they are unhappy with anything. Neither of these two people did that, they just decided to write nasty reviews afterwards. It is then impossible to put things right, or even to see if they genuinely do have a problem.

My website is full of excellent reviews from happy visitors, and I am very careful to explain that the chalets are small. They are designed for people who enjoy an outdoor lifestyle, and not suited to everybody. I suggest you book and apartment or the log cabin if you require indoor space.

The chalet (Cabin 2, August 2014) absolutely was not filthy. I personally check it every week and personally clean it on a regular basis too. My cleaners work very hard, in difficult circumstances occasionally, and I am offended on their behalf when people are rude like this. I am always available by telephone or email and can address any issues very quickly.

I am happy to say that the vast majority of visitors enjoy their holiday at Seagulls, and appreciate how hard my very small team works to keep prices to a minimum (typically £16 per person per night in high season and down to less than £4.50 per person per night in winter)
We offer budget accommodation, not five star holidays. I am proud to offer excellent value for money and strive to offer the best holiday possible. If things aren't perfect, I'm very sorry........ either look at things in the context of the price paid or get in touch and let me make things better

Just come home from seagulls bridlington stayed in cabin 2. what a utter disgrace.

Toilet compartment was absoulutly filthy, had to go out and buy bleach to clean toilet. Pan cupbpard in kitchen dirty and greasy, mirrors couldn't see through them and the windows and curtains looked as though they havent been cleaned for years. If i hadn't promissed my grandchildren a holiday i would have come straight back home. Very dissapointing for the money it cost. Definitley will not book through seagulls again

Seagulls Chalet 2
by: Karen Taylor-Beaumont

RE: Chalet 2
Very dissapointed with size of chalet the marketing makes it sound large when in fact it was too small for 3 of us, the size of the chalet does not warrant the bulky furniture and we kept on bangin our feet and toes in fact my daughter is badly hurt.
The crockery and the pans in the cupboards were very dirty. The towels supplied were only handtowles not big enough to dry 3 people after showering i had to go out and buy some.
The visitors book went missing during one day whilst we were out this also had very negative comments in.the bunk bed matress sunk in the middle and was very very uncomfortable, we left a few days early due to cramped conditions... not enough space to put clothes away couldn't get past the bunk beds to get to the drawers in that room.... booked this holiday 9.5 months ago and was expecting better needless to say i will not be re-booking. Price did not reflect.
